Euro 2012 is nearly here and the 16 competing nations have announced the final 23-man squads they hope will propel them to glory in Poland and Ukraine.
The four-yearly tournament kicks off on June 8 with co-hosts Poland taking on Euro 2004 winners Greece in Warsaw, with the final in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on July 1.
World Cup winners Spain go into the competition as reigning European champions following 2008’s triumph in Austria and Switzerland, with Germany and Netherlands tipped to be their main challengers this time around.
