Fulham tribute —
Following the death of Michael Jackson in 2009, Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed honored the pop superstar with a giant statue outside the club's Craven Cottage stadium in west London.

Celebrity soccer fan —
Jackson was one of Fulham Football Club's celebrity fans. In this photograph, he arrives to watch a match between Fulham and Wigan Athletic in 1999.

Mixed reviews —
The giant Jackson statue split opinion among the club's fans and when American billionaire Shahid Khan bought the club in 2013 he had it removed.

Fulham seal fate? —
Al Fayed has blamed the removal of the statue on Fulham's poor form. The club has lost its place in the Premier League after 13 years in the English top flight.

Khan-age —
It's been dismal viewing for new Fulham boss Khan (center right) as he watched the club tumble out of the Premier League in his first season in charge.
