Old Firm or New Firm? Rangers are Scotland's most successful club, but their liquidation has led many Celtic fans to claim the Rangers currently operating in the Scottish Championship is a different entity altogether. Some Celtic fans even took out a full page ad in a national broadsheet to state this opinion.

This combustible fixture has been known to boil over both on and off the pitch. In 1987 Frank McAvennie (left) of Celtic as well as Chris Woods and Terry Butcher of Rangers faced charges of breach of the peace for this bust up. Woods and Butcher were found guilty while McAvennie was found not guilty.

In more recent times, former Celtic manager Neil Lennon (pictured) was sent live ammunition and a parcel bomb in the post in 2011 while ex-Rangers player Nacho Novo allegedly received death threats in 2008.
