
Ferrari has revealed its concept for a radical redesign of a Formula One car on its website.

The historic Italian team says the design aims to be "technologically advanced but also attractive to the eye and aggressive looking."

The aesthetics of F1 cars have come in for criticism in recent years. The 2012 duck-billed platypus noses were deemed particularly ugly.

Ferrari debuted its design for the SF15-T racer, which carries the team's fortunes for the 2015 season, at the first winter test in Jerez, Spain.

New Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel was the center of attention from the media scrum as he made his driving debut for the team during the February test.

Ferrari is absorbing several changes ahead of the 2015 season which begins on March 15, including the arrival of new team principal Maurizio Arrivabene, who is seen here (right) at a skiing event with F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone.
