Australia are set to meet New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup final after beating India by 95 in the semifinal in Sydney.

India got off to a good start, Mohit Sharma celebrating after dismissing the Australian captain Michael Clarke.

But it wasn't all happy viewing for India's legions of fans -- pictured here watching the live broadcast at a tea stall in the Indian town of Amritsar.

It was the Aussie's day -- backed by an army of kangaroo toting fans, the crowd rejoiced after Mitchell Johnson took the wicket of Rohit Sharma.

According to the ICC website India were the trending team on Twitter with over 11.5 million tweets sent during the match.

India never looked close to chasing down its target of 329 and surrendered the title it won on home soil in 2011.

Australia now has a chance to regain the title it held between 1999 and 2011, when it faces fellow hosts New Zealand in Sunday's final in Melbourne.
