Racing isn't just for horses. Sheep are now proving they are decent woolly jumpers.

The famous Ascot racecourse hosted the just-for-fun Lamb National at the Prince's Countryside Fund race day last month.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall enjoyed the lamb racing at Ascot.

"They did appear to be having a great time," says Ascot's Nick Smith of the racecourse's royal visitors.

Sheep racing might be a bit of fun but it is unlikely to topple horse racing as the sport of kings.
