Five star —
And after Muller's deflected shot had made it 4-0, Lewandowski was on target again as he rifled home from inside the area to compound Porto's misery and make it 5-0 before halftime. Porto did pull a goal back through Jackson Martinez but after Ivan Marcano was sent off for the visitors, Xabi Alonso made it 6-1 on the night and 7-4 on aggregate.

Guardiola joy —
Few sides will fancy meeting Bayern in the final four and its coach Pep Guardiola could now face his former side Barcelona. Guardiola led the Spanish club to two Champions League crowns during his four-year reign.

Nifty Neymar —
Barcelona's task was a lot easier than Bayern's after it won 3-1 away against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of its quarterfinal, and when Neymar grabbed a first half double the match was all but over.

Barca brilliance —
Neymar rounded the goalkeeper from Andres Iniesta's pass for his first before the Brazilian striker nodded home powerfully from compatriot Dani Alves' cross to make it two.
