The Monaco Grand Prix -- it's not just about Formula One ...

Tamara Ecclestone's Dad Bernie runs Formula One. His daughter - dubbed F1's heiress -- adds glamor to the grease and oil of the sport.

Is world champion Lewis Hamilton the most fashionable driver in Formula One?

F1 drivers Marcus Ericsson (second left) and Daniil Kvyat strike a pose with models before the annual Amber Lounge charity fashion show which is held on the eve of the Monaco Grand Prix.

"The majority of the drivers like doing it," Amber Lounge founder Sonia Irvine tells CNN. One of those drivers is Red Bull race winner Daniel Ricciardo, who checks his outfit before the 2014 event.

"You have to be aware of how you look," says Sonia Irvine, seen here with her racing driver brother Eddie, of life in the spotlight of the F1 paddock.

F1 drivers, such as Mercedes' ace Nico Rosberg, are used to pampering. Rosberg's racesuit, shoes and underwear are all made to measure by sportswear giant Puma.

Puma estimates it provides 700 Mercedes and Ferrari staff with team kits, including shoes in team colors.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been a regular at Formula One grands prix for years. The top tier of motorsport requires "jet-set style dressing."

Jessica Michibata is one of the F1 paddock's most stylish women. The Japanese top model is the wife of McLaren driver Jenson Button.

F1's 1976 world champion James Hunt and his first wife, Suzy Miller, regularly added a touch of glamor in the 1970s. The pair were media favorites.

The Monaco Grand Prix is THE race for style icons. The 1973 race winner Jackie Stewart (far right) is seen here with his wife Helen (far left) but former Hollywood actor Grace Kelly and husband Prince Rainier III of Monaco are an unbeatable duo in Monte Carlo's style stakes.
