Miguel Angel Jimenez notched up his 10th hole in one in the third round of the BMW PGA Championhip, setting a European Tour record.

The Spanish veteran became only the third player on the tour to ace three times in one season as he sank his tee shot at the par-three second hole at Wentworth on May 23, 2015.

Earlier in May, Jimenez won 288 bottles of beer after firing an ace at the Spanish Open. He also had a hole in one in Abu Dhabi in January.

Back in 2008, Jimenez carded another ace on the final day at Wentworth as he won the European Tour's flagship event.

The 51-year-old is well known for his love of the good life -- here he celebrates his 2014 Spanish Open success with a cigar. Aged 50 and 133 days, he extended his record as the tour's oldest winner.

In 2012, Jimenez became the European Tour's oldest winner when he triumphed at the Hong Kong Open, then aged 48. He broke that record by retaining his title the following year after recovering from a broken leg suffered on a skiing holiday.

Jimenez, nicknamed "The Mechanic," has won 26 career titles, including 21 on the European Tour.
