Tiger Woods is confident he can regain his form and roar again. Working with Chris Como, Woods believes there are only minor changes needed to improve his swing.

But Woods' eight-year wait for his 15th major title shows no sign of ending. The former world No. 1 carded a four-over-par opening round of 76 at the 2015 Open Championship at St. Andrews.

The 39-year-old bogeyed the first two holes at the prestigious Scottish links course, where he has won two of his three Open titles.

The American was beginning to look fed up by the time he reached the par-five fifth hole, where he surrendered another stroke to slip to three over for the round.

After another dropped shot on the 10th, Woods slipped to five over for the day. But he recovered to card pars on the 11th, 12th and 13th holes.

Woods, now ranked 266th, had some encouragement when he recorded the only birdie of his round at the par-five 14th.

Woods was tied on four over with Tom Watson, the eight-time major winner who is playing at the Open Championship for the final time.
