Europe's Solheim Cup captain Carin Koch (pictured) has helped design her team's uniforms for the 2015 tournament.

Koch says having a comfortable uniform is important for the team's unity and confidence.

Jackets, t-shirts, gilets, trousers, scarfs and jumpers are all part of the collection.

"(The Solheim Cup) is the only event (in women's golf) where you play as a team and get to wear the same clothing," Koch says.

While some players might opt for the eccentric pants as popularized by male golfers like Ian Poulter, Koch has opted for a more conservative, classic style.

"You have to make sure that there are 12 people that are going to wear this and feel comfortable in it," Koch says.

Koch took part in three Solheim Cups as a player and was part of a winning European team in 2000 and 2003.

In 2013, Koch (left) was vice-captain to fellow Swede Liselotte Neumann (center) as Europe defeated the U.S. in Colorado.

This year, the 44-year-old (right) will be pitting her wits against U.S. captain Juli Inkster (left) at the St. Leon course in Baden Wurttemberg, Germany, from September 18-20.
