Suzann Pettersen ‘so sorry’ for Solheim Cup incident

Suzann Pettersen issued an apology via her Instagram account after her controversial decision not to concede a putt in the Solheim Cup drew widespread criticism. "I've never felt more gutted and truly sad about what went down Sunday," she said. "I am so sorry."

Team USA's Alison Lee was reduced to tears on the 18th hole after she picked up her ball on the 17th green before it had been conceded by her European Team opponents Pettersen and England's Charley Hull.
