
Marton Fulop passed away at the age of 32 after succumbing to cancer. The former goalkeeper played for a host of English Premier League teams including Manchester City, Sunderland and Tottenham.

Fulop enjoyed his most successful spell at Sunderland. He played 47 times for the club between 2006 and 2010.

Fulop, who began his career with MTK Budapest in his home country, moved to the Premier League with Tottenham in 2004.

After having an operation to remove a tumor from his arm in 2013, following his last active season at Greek side Asteras Tripoli, Fulop spoke of his hope to return to action.

Fulop represented the Hungarian national team on 24 occasions.
