Grand National: Rule the World pips Last Samuri to Aintree prize

The 33-1 shot overtook the Last Samuri (8-1) and Vics Canvas (100-1), which finished second and third respectively, late on to claim the £561,300 ($793,000) winner's prize.

The Grand National is the UK's most famous horse race and organizers estimated it would be watched by 600 million people around the world.
