Fraser-Pryce is heading to her third Olympics. "I'm looking forward to the athletes' village. The first time, I went into the cafeteria -- it was huge and there were so many athletes there. It was breathtaking to be able to be among all these athletes, and also to make friends."

Fraser-Pryce and Usain Bolt both have the chance to complete a historic sweep of three straight Olympic sprint titles at Rio 2016. Fraser-Pryce's chance comes a night before Bolt's. "We've never spoken about it. I know what he wants and he knows what I want."

Fraser-Pryce owns Olympic silver medals over 200m and in the 4x100m relay, but she will focus on the individual 100m in Rio to minimize the risk of aggravating a toe injury. "It started in 2015 and I've had it for a year, but it has suddenly got worse."

Away from the track, Fraser-Pryce owns a cafe and a hair salon, has a foundation set up under her nickname of "Pocket Rocket," and will start studying for a master's degree after the Olympics.

Fraser-Pryce says she's "excited" for Rio despite negative headlines about the Brazilian city's preparations. "I'm hoping it's exaggerated a bit," she says. "Sometimes, when you get there, it's not as bad as how it was in the media."

At Beijing 2008, two and a half years before she married longtime partner Jason Pryce, Fraser led a Jamaican clean sweep of the Olympic 100m medals as Sherone Simpson and Kerron Stewart tied for silver.
