Each year the Magnolia Cup features women from a range of business backgrounds, with little to no experience of horse racing. Pictured is the 2012 lineup at the Glorious Goodwood festival.

The women are following a similar path to that of Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton, who raced at this year's Cheltenham Festival after taking up horse riding for the first time in March 2015.
