Seremaia Bai won 53 caps for Fiji and played for a number of rugby clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Wales, France, Japan and England.

He also played eight times for the Pacific Islanders, a composite team with players from Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.

Bai moved to Europe in 2006 to play for France's Clermont Auvergne. A fly-half or center, he scored more than 200 points.

Bai then moved south to rivals Castres, where he stayed for four years until 2014.

Bai spent the last few years of his career with English Premiership side Leicester Tigers. After retiring from rugby, Bai set up the Rugby Academy Fiji, to which Tigers donated kit.

A powerful presence in the back line, Bai's kicking ability also made him an asset to every team he represented.

After a 16-year playing career, Bai now hopes to inspire a new generation of rugby stars, with a particular emphasis on teenage boys from poor backgrounds in Fiji.
