London metropolitan police say two people were killed and at least three others were injured in a terrorist attack near London Bridge on Friday.
The attacker, Usman Khan, 28, wore a fake bomb strapped to him when he was shot, police said.
Bystanders took a stand against the London Bridge terror suspect tackling him to the ground while wielding a fire extinguisher and an apparent narwhal tusk, as stories emerged of individual acts of bravery.
London Bridge is a busy area of the city that houses several restaurants, bars and businesses. A terror attack on the bridge in 2017 killed several people.
