South California-based company Back Nine Greens has completed over 10,000 projects since it was founded in 1997 by Dominic Nappi.

The firm has delivered putting greens and holes for a number of high-profile clients — from Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen to music producer DJ Khaled — and installed the first holes at Popstroke, a "technology-infused golf-entertainment concept" that began in Florida (pictured).

Popstroke has since expanded to various other locations across Florida as well as Texas, Arizona, and Alabama, and in October 2019 partnered with Tiger Woods.

Designed to be played year-round with little need for maintenance, Back Nine Greens' synthetic turf putting greens are tailored to the buyer, who is interviewed ahead of construction to outline their playing style, skill level and other considerations.

Beyond putting greens, the company also offers backyard driving ranges and -- for those with the space -- full on courses.

"People are looking for golf art," Nappi told CNN. "They don't know it, but they are."
