Pride Month?is a time to celebrate the thriving lives and rich histories of lesbian, gay,?bisexual,?transgender and queer communities nationwide.

For transgender?Americans?in particular, this month’s festivities may feel especially important amid a rising tide?of?anti-trans legislation?and efforts to limit trans people’s participation in public life, from the?sports they can play?to the?bathrooms they’re permitted to use.
