Today, Target has officially announced its Target Circle Week sale. We’ve already been preparing for the parade of deals coming in October from Amazon and Walmart, and now another retailer is stepping in to heat up the competition.

Ahead of next month’s sale, we’re here to put our decades of combined experience to use and break down everything you need to know about Target Circle Week. We’ve already begun combing through the early deals too, so you can beat the rush with holiday-worthy discounts now.

When is Target Circle Week?

Target’s latest fall sale will be kicking off on Sunday, Oct. 6, and carrying through the end of the week on Saturday, Oct. 12. The sale will arrive before both October Prime Day and the Walmart Holiday Deals event. Throughout these seven days of savings, you’ll be able to cash in on a list of revolving daily deals as well as offers that last the whole week.

Do I need a Target Circle membership to shop the sale?

Yes. Thankfully, Target Circle memberships are free to sign up for. There is a paid tier known as Target Circle 360 that offers additional perks like free delivery on all orders, but you won’t need that to save.

How does Target Circle Week compare to Prime Big Deal Days?

Amazon’s October Prime Day event, officially named Prime Big Deal Days, will only be taking place over 48 hours. Target’s competing sale looks to extend that with a full week of offers. Both of the events will require you to have a membership to their respective loyalty programs. The main difference is that you’ll need to pay for a Prime membership, unlike a Target Circle account.
