Nomad is back at it again.

One of our favorite accessory makers for Apple devices, Nomad has had a busy 2023 with frequent product drops like 3-in-1 charging stations, a leather folio for the iPad Pro, various new iPhone cases and — of course — a slew of Apple Watch bands. From glow-in-the-dark bands to striped accents, there’s been no shortage of slick Apple Watch straps to pick from.

Today, the company is dropping yet again and focusing on one of its most requested colors: yellow.

Pricing and limited availability

Nomad's beloved sport case, which promises a grippy rubber shell and 8 feet of drop protection, is now available in a slick Racing Yellow variation.

Built to withstand serious sweat and rough weather, the popular Nomad Sport Band is now available in Racing Yellow.

The Sport Case for iPhone and Sport Band for Apple Watch are now available in Racing Yellow. The case costs $50 and is available for the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, while the band costs $60 and is available for 49mm/45mm/44mm/42mm Apple Watches.

Nomad stressed in its email to me that this is a limited-edition drop, and there’s no guarantee it’ll return in the future. So if this color is something you’re interested in, you’ll want to jump on it as soon as possible and get your order in.

Nomad’s latest Sport Case for iPhone and Sport Band for Apple Watch come in Racing Yellow

Perhaps one of the more tame finishes for the company, Racing Yellow is available as a limited-edition color for Nomad’s Sport Case for the iPhone and Sport Band for the Apple Watch. According to the company, people have been asking for this color for quite some time, so if you’re one of those people, today is your lucky day.

The color isn’t too vibrant or flashy, which is difficult to pull off. It’s more of a dandelion yellow than anything, and I dig it. It’s also the first time Nomad’s gone full-on yellow after skirting around the color with finishes like Blaze and High Volta.

While the color is new, the accessories it’s landed on aren’t. The Sport Case remains unchanged, with a rubber bumper around the sides, aluminum buttons and a glossy back to protect your iPhone while still giving you a bit of style and finesse. Meanwhile, the Sport Band is still made of FKM fluoroelastomer rubber so it’s breathable and completely waterproof. The aluminum fastener adds a high-end touch, and it remains my favorite Apple Watch band of all time.

It’s anyone’s guess what Nomad might be cooking up next, and I wouldn’t count out more product drops before the end of the year. But if there’s one thing you can be certain of, it’s that whatever they release, it’ll be dope.
