What we like
Ehrlich Pest Control achieved the highest score in our evaluation of comprehensive plans, with particular praise for its PestFree365+ plan. This plan delivers considerable value to customers by covering up to 39 common pests and providing unlimited service calls if pest problems aren’t resolved with treatment.
What we don’t like
Service availability is limited to 19 states and Washington, D.C. Additionally, the prices we received via phone and online were drastically different. Whereas the online quotes we received were between $40 and $55 per month, we were quoted over $100 per month over the phone. You may also need to pay extra for mosquito coverage, as these pests aren’t covered in every general pest control plan.

How much does Ehrlich Pest Control cost?
The typical price for pest control coverage ranges from $450 to $1,300 per year. Our quote from Ehrlich was much higher than average: $1,416 for PestFree365+ and $1,579 for the standard PestFree365 plan, with a startup and initial service fee of $223. This was our quote when we called and talked to a representative about coverage for odorous ants and mosquitos.
However, when we submitted our information to Ehrlich’s online instant quote service, we were given much lower rates. Our estimated rates for five cities within Ehrlich’s service area were between $40 and $55 per month, making this pest control service a bargain based on national averages. Single services were also much lower than the national average, at $200 to $350 per visit.

Keep in mind that not all plans include mosquitoes. On the phone, the representative told us it would cost $64 to add on. If you want treatment for bedbugs, termites, mice or other specialty pests, you’ll have to call for an on-site inspection. The company doesn’t provide quotes for these services online or over the phone.
Savings and discounts
Customers can save more by paying every month versus paying a lump sum. When we called for a quote, the representative indicated that one customer had saved $151 on her PestFree365+ plan by paying monthly. Over the phone, we were told we’d save $163 if we chose to pay monthly. This discount was not an option when we got our online quotes, but we could also not check out unless we talked to a representative directly. So, this promotion may still be available to all customers.
To earn up to a $40 credit with the Full Circle Referral Rewards program, existing customers can refer friends to purchase a PestFree365+ plan. Once the referred customer signs up and completes their initial service, you’ll receive the credit on your account while they get a $40 discount off their plan. There’s no limit to the number of referrals you can make.

A structural wood replacement warranty covers future termite damage and repairs, guaranteeing continued protection against these destructive pests. Ehrlich also conducts termite inspections for real estate deals, meeting requirements set by mortgage lenders and government agencies.
Mosquito and tick control
Ehlrich’s mosquito and tick control service offers worry-free protection for your family and pets, ensuring you can enjoy your outdoor space pest-free all summer. A technician will identify and treat areas in your yard where mosquitoes frequent, employing EPA-registered products on perimeter vegetation, ground cover and other conducive habitats.
Ehlrich offers two options tailored to your needs: a single service plan (ideal for special outdoor events) and a monthly service plan that provides season-long protection with barrier treatments tailored to your location. Monthly mosquito and tick control treatments are typically done from March to October or April to September, depending on where you live.
Wildlife control
Ehrlich employs tailored methods, including trapping and exclusion, to manage nuisance animals in wildlife control. An inspector checks the wildlife issue, and a technician devises a plan. For example, if there’s a squirrel problem, the technician will quote prices for sealing holes and setting traps.
Technicians are skilled in identifying and addressing various pests like bats, chipmunks, gophers, moles, raccoons, skunks, squirrels and voles, adhering to state laws and regulations. Ehrlich utilizes one-way doors when necessary to ensure effective and humane removal while prioritizing pest risk management.

The help and advice section provides a handy resource for customers to learn more about pests in general.
The live chat feature indicates when an agent is available. We posed as a secret shopper based in Virginia who was having trouble with odorous ants and mosquitoes. The representative was patient and answered our questions about costs, payment plans and potential savings. We also did not feel pressured to proceed with a sale, which made the conversation much more comfortable.
Despite our positive customer service experience, Ehrlich Pest Control’s reviews from verified customers are mixed. Some have experienced thorough inspections, while others have reported negative interactions with customer service.
The fine print: Terms and conditions you should know
No long-term contract is required for any PestFree365 plan, but you may be asked to do so if you choose a plan with lower rates. The home must be free of bedbugs at the initial service. Bedbug coverage applies specifically to single-family homes that are in good standing. Additional restrictions may also apply.
After the appointment, customers can receive their bill by mail or pay online. The pest technician will provide a service summary, with payment due within 30 days. Also, if you move, you can transfer your PestFree365+ plan to your new home without extra charges.
Ehrlich Pest Control vs. competitors
