Inject color and style into your home with these real hammered glass stained glass terrariums. Available in pairs and a few different color options, these fun, pretty terrariums stand out with their rich, transparent look. And because they’re crafted from glass rather than plastic, you’re also getting a huge deal for two at just $30. Whether you fill them with air plants (more on those in a bit) or create your own miniature terrarium, they promise to simply dress up any space.

Terrariums have been making a comeback in recent years, along with miniature gardens and fairy gardens. If you head to your local garden center, there’s a good chance you’ll find a miniature gardening section. Feel free to try some of the tiny indoor plants you find there in this terrarium, or instead, look for one of the best-kept secrets in no-hassle houseplants?— the hardy and distinct air plant. An easy, compelling-looking houseplant, air plants just need air and water to grow, which makes them easy to arrange and keep healthy.

You’ll have a pair of unique, colorful, miniature terrariums with these tiny hanging planters, perfect for the office, kitchen, out on your patio or in any empty window.

How I found the stained glass terrariums

I had been on the lookout for a unique air plant holder to brighten up my space. I often see the round, bulb-like glass designs you hang in your window, but I wanted something different. These colorful stained glass designs seemed a perfect antidote to my planter blahs.

I’ve always loved how sunlight hits stained glass for the perfect glow against your wall. It’s a lovely way to add interest to an area without blocking the light. Before I ordered these stained glass terrariums, I had questions about the overall quality. Would I get a cheap, plastic design for just $30 for two planters? Thankfully, when I pulled them out of the box, I could see that this wasn’t the case.

The terrariums aren’t big — about 4 inches at the widest point and 7 inches tall. This makes them absolutely perfect to hang (with the included metal chain) in a window, out on my front porch or even in my office area. I ordered the blue and yellow option. There was also a pink and brown combo, which I plan to add to in the future.

Why they’re a score

This is quality stained glass for an incredible price, not plastic replicas. And because they are crafted from real hammered glass, you’ll get that soothing rippled glow across your wall when the sun hits it just right. In general, stained glass items tend to be pricey, so I was thrilled to get two planters for what I might usually pay for one. This pack would also make a great gift, and I’m planning to buy another set and split it between friends.

Because of the budget pricing, I had my doubts about these stained glass terrariums. But they exceeded my expectations. In fact, I wish there were more colors to choose from. I’ll have to deal with what’s on offer, however, so I can hang several more in front of a giant set of windows in my dining room. It will be a gorgeous look to have more of these in one spot and I can’t wait to add to my display.
