Yeti Cast Iron Skillet Launch.jpg

Yeti’s range of insulated water bottles, drinkware and coolers are among the best in class, and now the company has gone even further with the launch of a new line of cast-iron cookware. Last year, if you remember, the company launched a $400 (yes, $400) cast-iron skillet in collaboration with Butter Pat that sold out multiple times, and it seems like the company is calculating that fans will love a whole range of the heavy-duty cookware just as much — this time at a lower price point.

The new line includes the skillet in three different sizes, with the smallest, 8-inch version ringing up at $150 and largest, 12-inch version coming in at $250.

The middle size in the new line, the 10-inch skillet is perfect for cooking for two, whether that’s at home or in the wild. We're anticipating this to be a new take on some of the best cast-iron skillets.

Yeti’s cast-iron skillets come preseasoned and smooth to the touch, and they’re made for induction, ceramic and gas stoves as well as proper campfire cooking. Like other hand-me-down-worthy cast-iron cookware, it holds the heat for balanced, even cooking. Just keep in mind that it becomes more nonstick the more you cook with it, so go with generous portions that fill the pan and some foods that need oil for the first few uses to help condition the pan.
