Where would you jet off to if you never had to pay for another flight again? The concept of unlimited flights is a dream for many frequent flyers and travel devotees — and with more and more airlines offering flight passes and packages, that dream is getting closer to becoming reality.
Flight passes and packages are exactly what they sound like: You pay once to access a bundle of (or sometimes even unlimited) flights to given destinations. Certain budget airlines in the US and Canada offer very generous packages for flight paths within North America, while bigger airlines are starting to offer international packages as well.
A flight pass is indeed an investment compared to purchasing a one-off flight, but if you’re traveling multiple times per year (or if you’ve always wanted to), then it might be worth looking into the airlines and offerings that’ll get you an unlimited spot onboard.
Here are the best airline flight passes and packages in North America and beyond. Consider them if you’re a frequent business traveler or are about to embark on a long-term adventure.
Alaska Airlines Flight Pass
The Alaska Airlines Flight Pass is a subscription-based membership that’ll grant you access to up to 24 roundtrips each year among 15 destinations in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah.
The membership does not have blackout dates, which means you can even fly on major holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas without paying extra fees. Mileage Plan elite status members will also receive free upgrades to first-class and premium-class seats, when available.
From $49 per month at AlaskaAirlines.com.
Frontier Airlines GoWild! Pass
Frontier Airlines made headlines last year for its brand-new GoWild! All You Can Fly Pass. The one-time payment gives you access to all US and international destinations that Frontier Airlines serves (this includes sun destinations!).
That said, domestic flights are confirmed one day before departure while international flights can be confirmed up to 10 days from departure, so only buy the pass if you’re comfortable with last-minute travel.
Further, flights are subject to blackout periods, so don’t bank on using your GoWild! Pass over the holidays. But otherwise, you’ll have access to a veritable all-you-can-fly service for the length of your monthly or annual pass for just the cost of taxes and fees.
From $149 per month at FlyFrontier.com.
Air Canada Flight Pass
The Air Canada flight pass offering works slightly different from its American counterparts, but it’s still worth considering if you travel to and from Canada regularly.
Unlimited flight passes are available based on zones and destinations and, unfortunately, do not allow mixing and matching. This means if you book one given destination to another, that’s the only flight path you can access. It’s a great option for business travel or students regularly commuting from school to home.
From $1,420 per month at AirCanada.com.
Porter Airlines Pass
Porter Airlines is another Canadian airline that offers a flight pass worth considering if you travel to and from Canada regularly — especially since Porter Airlines has started a massive network expansion.
The flight pass — the Porter Pass — comes in the form of 10, 20, 50 or 100 prepaid flight credits which are valid for 365 days after purchase. This program allows you to mix and match your flight paths and also allows you to share flight credits with others. Note that the Porter Pass is only available for members of the VIPorter loyalty program, which is free to join.

Air Tahiti Multi-Island Pass
Air Tahiti is making it easier than ever to see multiple islands during your trip to Tahiti (as well as the Austral Islands and part of the Marquesas Islands).
There are a variety of different multi-island passes available, ranging from the Discovery Pass (Moorea, Huahine and Raiatea) to more comprehensive passes like the Bora Tuamotu Max Pass (Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea, Bora Bora, Maupiti, Rangiroa, Tikehau and Fakarava).
These packages could be a huge money saver if you’re planning a long trip to French Polynesia, so do the math and see if it makes more sense than buying individual flight tickets.

Wizz All You Can Fly
Wizzair is a European low-cost carrier with a significant presence in Europe and the Middle East. Expect to pay more for extras like bags and seat selection when you fly with the airline.
The airline recently announced a flight pass called Wizz All You Can Fly that can be used to book an unlimited number of flights for €599 per year, which is approximately $658 at the time of publishing. While this might be a tempting offer for travelers based in Europe, there are some major catches.
You’ll pay €9.99 — approximately $10.97 — per flight you book with the pass and flights are only bookable three days in advance. Flights booked with the pass only include a personal item. You’d need to fly more than 60 times per year to get value from the pass, according to travel website The Points Guy.
If you’re interested in the Wizz All You Can Fly pass, 10,000 passes are available and booking starts Sept. 25, 2024. Be sure to consider how inexpensive Wizzair flights are before buying a pass — you may be better off paying for flights as you go if you tend to book in advance.
Southwest Airlines Companion Pass
This is different from the other flight passes on this list, but it’s still worth a mention. Southwest Rapid Rewards members can get the Southwest Companion Pass after earning 135,000 qualifying points in a year. After this, the member can take a companion with them on all their Southwest flights for the remainder of the current year and the entirety of the following.
The Companion Pass is valid on points booked with cash or Rapid Rewards points, and members can change their specified companion up to three times per year. There are no blackout dates or limits to how many times you can use the pass, and you can use it on any international or domestic route that Southwest operates.
And fortunately, all points earned from any of the Southwest credit cards —?including the welcome bonus —?count as qualifying points towards the pass.
